This book was designed to be a 'text-book' or 'hand-book' for the mother.
It is 218 pages including 120 recipes. 

The natural treatments

Our total treatment method has evolved over 14 years. In this time we have
always aimed to restore the child’s normal body functions, often spoilt and disrupted
by inappropriate medical interventions. This allows the immune system
to function as it should and the child to be his own doctor.
Apart from specialist problems, the last three years have seen most final pieces
fall into place.
To reach our endpoint, a balanced and strong immunity, we first repair the damaged
Master-systems: (1) gastro-intestinal and (2) neurological. All other systems
will then fall into line.
You can make such a child feel better quickly by giving digestive enzymes
to reduce the common stomach ‘gas’ pains. (“Johnny, where is the pain in your
tummy?” — “Here”, he says, and points almost invariably at the so-called ‘Enteric
Cross’, mid-line, four fingers above the ‘belly button’.)

Then we commence the repair of organ functions.

Summary: 1–8 Steps of the Natural Biomedical Program

1. Clear the gut of fecal debris — easily, (no hassles) using oxygen-producing powder . Undiagnosed compacted feces is common in these children (even though sometimes bowel transit time [BTT] maybe normal) and stool appear okay. KUB scans (which investigate bowels) for children are becoming more common. It has lately become apparent that this has secretly been holding many children back. It is believed to be caused by the MMR vax virus that has been found in the intestinal walls of many autistic children and is responsible for lymph tissue engorgement (dysplasia)which may cause motility problems. Motility problems in children are now acknowledged medically, as a phenomenon. Once this has been reversed many children can go back to school.

2. Clear the gut of pathogens - using natural antibiotics and powerful probiotics

3. Re-populate with specific probiotics and transfer factor for immune balanceand white cell activity enhancement. We do not use colostrums as such, but the TF factors extracted from colostrums. Cow colostrums contain several factors to which a child can react, including bovine immunoglobulins — quite foreign to a child’s gut.

Supply gut repair powder/nutrients/probiotics that provide building materials for gut repair. We use sulphur containing amino acid products  — the liquid form.

4. The crucial step. Start-up the Enzyme Cascade by re-activating stomach acids which naturally increases secretin; which, in turn, induces pancreatic bicarb production which empowers pancreatic enzymes by reducing acidity and increasesbile production (steps which also clear Enteric Cross pains). This alsoallows the activation of AXF protein sites that have recently been found to (a) kill certain gut pathogens and (b) protect mucus membrane tissue.

5. Drain the liver with homeopathic drainols and later, liver function homeopathics or herbs.

6. Chelate the heavy metals using bentonite claybaths, zeolite and footpads enhanced with liquid chelators and alkalizing the child.   

7. Increase brain circulation and neurotransmitter efficiency. Special supplements.

8. Evaluate for under- or over-methylation, pyrrole problems and take steps to reverse, if present.

Gut repair enables nutrient uptake and function once again, which is vital for Immune System viability.  New pathologies make the job easier in difficult cases:

ASD children have a common (long) list of nutrient deficiencies. For several years these have been well-defined by laboratories worldwide, all with predictable results in percentage terms of the various nutrient categories, and often specific for various diagnoses in the ASD spectrum.

ASD children have several other measurable parameters: organic acid pathway defects; pathogens: candida species, strep, staph, etc. leaky gut & many more.

Lately, Australia has been introduced to new broad-spectrum organic acid testing tailored to suit ASD. We are now seeing specific insights into each difficult case that beforehand was a matter of experience, intuition and experimentation.
